The Last Two Meetings of the Year...

Hello everyone! We hope you had a wonderful fall break, got lots of rest, and had a lot of food! We will be meeting this week Friday, Dec 6th at 6-7:30pm in Bartlett 1017!

We will be having another small open mic during our meeting so please come with any pieces you’ve been working on and would like to share or receive feedback on! We will also be chatting about what we liked this semester as a group and ideas for events next semester. Feel free to also bring some homework!

The last meeting of the semester/year will be Wednesday Dec 11th, either 5-6:30pm or 6-7:30 pm.

We may be having hot coco and cookies or other treats depending on everyone’s preferences and feedback. We will get cozy with snacks and listen to some slam poetry, perform a little bit, and discuss future plans!

Also: The Iowa Poetry Association's Cedar Falls-Waterloo Qualifier will be happening again this year!

This is a chance to compete for an opportunity to advance to the state level, and after that advance to the BlackBerry Peach National Poetry Slam! This is a great experience every year and can open so many doors for you and allow you to network with so many people! Attached below is the digital flyer.
