We will be meeting this week, it will just be a bit unconventional! We will be meeting Friday, March 14th, 4-5pm in Rod Library near the computer lounge area near the Book Bistro. This is a super informal get together just to go over recent events and share a few poems!

April 4-5th, POETRY PALOOZA 2025!! And STATE FINALS!

What is Poetry Palooza? Inspired by an educational and entertainment event of nearly 20 years ago, this creative experience – Poetry Palooza! – has been a long time in the making. In partnership with Humanities Iowa and the Iowa Poetry Association, we are hosting Poetry Palooza! a dynamic, interactive, and integrated performing arts experience. This festival celebrates esteemed poets, cultivates students and emerging talent, and demonstrates the positive power of poetry. The winners of the Cedar Falls Qualifier, Vincent, Tony, and Taryn, will be competing for the state title!

PLEASE RSVP ASAP. We will be figuring out travel arrangements in the coming weeks. Let us know if you plan to attend no later than Thursday March 20th!
