Good afternoon All,
We will not be meeting this week! Please take this lovely Friday to reset, relax, and enjoy the start of the weekend! Midterms are right around the corner!
If any of you wish to meet up informally to hang out, feel free to do so! Please be on the lookout for our next newsletter early next week with more information as well as the time we will be meeting then.

TONIGHT!!! CEDAR FALLS COMMUNITY THEATRE SHOWCASE: Naked Truths! Doors open @ 6:30pm. Tickets are $15 for anyone over 16.
March 7th, 7-9pm: Poetry Show in collaboration with Nicole Sallis, Chris Hale and the Cedar Falls Community Theatre! The event will take place at the Theatre and will be an amazing way to support local artists! They are not accepting any more performers at this time. Please come to support the local community and watch tons of spoken word performances as well as some musical performances too. The link to purchase tickets will be attached here as well!
April 4-5th, POETRY PALOOZA 2025!! And STATE FINALS!
What is Poetry Palooza? Inspired by an educational and entertainment event of nearly 20 years ago, this creative experience – Poetry Palooza! – has been a long time in the making. In partnership with Humanities Iowa and the Iowa Poetry Association, we are hosting Poetry Palooza! a dynamic, interactive, and integrated performing arts experience. This festival celebrates esteemed poets, cultivates students and emerging talent, and demonstrates the positive power of poetry. The winners of the Cedar Falls Qualifier, Vincent, Tony, and Taryn, will be competing for the state title!
PLEASE RSVP ASAP. We will be figuring out travel arrangements in the coming weeks. Let us know if you plan to attend no later than Thursday March 20th!
