Final Thursday Reading Series featuring Laura Farmer
February’s Final Thursday Reading Series features short story writer and novelist Laura Farmer. Farmer is the author of Direct Connection: Stories and a Novella (Bridge Eight Press) and Catch and Release (North Dakota State University Press). A native of Cedar Falls, she currently directs the Dungy Writing Studio at Cornell College. Open mic at 7:00; featured reading (simulcast on Zoom) at 7:30. See the attached flyer!

SUBMITTING TO IOWA POETRY ASSOCIATION - DEADLINE TOMORROW
Here is some information regarding the Iowa Poetry Association’s Annual College Contest for undergraduate students! The deadline for submission is February 28th, 2025! Please look over the attached flyer with the information.
CEDAR FALLS COMMUNITY THEATRE SHOWCASE: Naked Truths!
March 7th, 7-9pm: Poetry Show in collaboration with Nicole Sallis, Chris Hale and the Cedar Falls Community Theatre! The event will take place at the Theatre and will be an amazing way to support local artists! They are not accepting any more performers at this time. Please come to support the local community and watch tons of spoken word performances as well as some musical performances too. The link to purchase tickets will be attached here as well!
