Tuesday October 28th we will be hosting a Costume Contest and small get together before we head over to The Octopus for their open-mic/Slam!

Upcoming opportunity to travel and compete with some of the best poets in Iowa!

Our founder and current president, Vincent, has been given the opportunity to perform at this event and there will be a competitive open mic held after for everyone to participate in. We need people interested in attending so we can request funding to travel to Iowa City November 15th. If you are interested in driving and carpooling please let us know ASAP. We will be able to get you reimbursed for gas milage. This option would possibly be easier to fund and coordinate.

At the start of each semester we like to ask everyone for their availability in order to find the best time to meet. We usually meet for 1.5-2 hours every week. Meetings are NOT mandatory so don't feel bad if you can only come to part of a meeting.
